Eudunda is steeped in history since its foundation in 1870.

You will notice a silhouette of a man with a dog cut out exhibited at various sites of Eudunda buildings.

This is to acknowledge early pioneers and their faithful dogs of Eudunda. ‘Gustav and his Dog’ became the logo when Eudunda celebrated its 125 celebration.

There are also framed information plaques on many street building highlighting the life and use of each house or business.

A fascinating walk called the “Hidden Treasure Tour” is available. An information brochure can be found at the Eudunda Information Service or the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery in the main street. This walk will take at least 40 minutes.

The Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery is an award winning tourist attraction and free passes can be found in the folder you receive when staying at ‘The Mouse House on Bruce’.

You will get lost in time walking through the immense collection of memorabilia and history of Eudunda and surrounding areas.

Additional tourist information is available at the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery or across the road at the Eudunda Visitor Information Service and online at the Eudunda Web Portal (eudunda.net)
